●  Each session will last for around 50 minutes. We will usually have a session once a week on the same day and time, for as many weeks as you would like.

●  During the first session you will have the opportunity to talk through the problems you are experiencing in areas you need assistance with and the reasons you are seeking consulting. I usually spend the last few minutes answering any questions you may have and discussing how you would like to move forward. Should you wish to continue we will draw up a rough plan of how many sessions you might like to start with.

●  It is important to note that consulting is a process and research tells us that a minimum of 4 sessions is needed before change can start to occur. Somewhere between 6 and 12 sessions is recommended, though it does depend on the issues you bring.

●  Your progress will be reviewed regularly, every 3 to 5 sessions, which will offer us the opportunity to take stock and for you to decide if you wish to continue.

●  The work that we do during each session will be confidential. I will not disclose any information to anyone without your knowledge and written consent. The only exceptions to this are:

• •   In some situations, your needs or the interests of the public may potentially outweigh the duty of confidentiality: for example, where there is reason to believe that serious harm may occur to you or others. Should this situation arise, I will make every effort to discuss this with you first and talk about the appropriate action required.
  •   Professional peer review. Occasionally, I may discuss the content of our sessions with a peer, someone involved in my continuing professional development. This will ensure that I am working with you to the best of my ability. However, I will never disclose any personally identifiable information about you, and I will take great care to protect your privacy.

●  Along with confidentiality, transparency and impartiality is central to the way I work.

●  Your sessions are charged at the hourly rate set out below and your, non-refundable, payment must be made in advance of the session(s).

●  If you are late for a session, I will wait for you for 10 minutes and we can use any time that is remaining, but the session cannot be extended.

●  If you are unable to attend a booked appointment, please contact me by phone (voicemail or text) or email. Cancellations at less than 2 days’ notice, or no-shows, will be charged at the full rate.

●  I am a member of a number of professional bodies and associations as per my profiles. If you have any queries or concerns about my consulting practice, that you cannot speak to me about, you may seek further assistance.
